Head of department CHR METZ-THIONVILLE from December 1984 to August 2013 (half time).
He started to use the Kelman Phacoemulsification technique
for cataract extraction since January 1985 (phaco course by Charles D.KELMAN
Manhattan Eye and Ear Infirmary NY, NY, USA) and he helped to introduce
and to promote this technique in France and Europe.
Faculty member of many Phaco courses since 1985
(Belgium, Canada, France, Luxembourg, USA, Switzerland).
He has carried out thousands of cataract surgery along with refractive surgery
resorting to radial keratotomy since 1985 and Excimer Laser since 1991.
